Cambridge Financial Services is one of the oldest full service bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation firms in Halifax. Currently, there are six accounting technicians, one full-time and two part-time tax professionals employed with the firm. Existing clients cover a broad spectrum of the small business community, ranging from retail to medical, from trades to technology.

Cambridge Financial Services has been an incorporated company since June 1987, and grew out of a bookkeeping proprietorship with roots going back to January 1985. Since its humble beginnings, operating from a tiny office on Almon Street, Cambridge has steadily grown to its current facilities in the Starlite Gallery of The Village at Bayers Road.

The founder of the company, Steve Cummings, has been a guest on a local business to business television program and interviewed by ATV in respect to provincial tax changes. In addition, Mr. Cummings has been quoted in a national investment periodical on the subject of small business ownership and has been guest speaker at the Nova Scotia Community Campus and Canadian Bookkeepers Association.
